Definition 10.2.17.2EE8F1562C62 The real $(1,1)$-cohomology space of $X$ is
\[ H^{1,1}(X,\mathbb R)= \frac{\{ \text{closed smooth real $(1,1)$-forms}\} }{\{ \mathrm{dd}^{\mathrm{c}}f:f\in C^\infty (X,\mathbb R)\} }. \]
The class of a closed smooth real $(1,1)$-form $\theta $ is denoted $\{ \theta \} $. For a closed real $(1,1)$-current $T$ we put $\{ T\} =\{ H\} $, where $H$ is the harmonic form in (10.2.16).
